Keyboardist new in town, looking to join or start a project

I am a 35-yr-old keyboard player who just moved to the area. My background is a jazz / funk / fusion sort of thing. Iâ€™m still trying to get a feel for the scene here, and really, the only extent to which I have pursued that is checking out some of the open jams around town. Although these jams were fun, Iâ€™m looking to do something more than just â€œbloozâ€

You should go see Phil Sugar. He's a guitarist that is of like mind to you. He also came from a jazz background in Chicago. He teaches lessons at b-sharp music here ib Fort Wayne. Then let me know where your play. Would love to see a band like that around here!@

check out local band Katzenjammer - kinda like Jeff Beck meets Mahavishnu Orch. - Tribal Tech - Garaj Mahal - ARU- etc. etc.
