clemens was such a prima donna.

wouldnt come to training camp because he felt he didnt need to.

didnt sign with a team until they payed him 5+ million more than he was worth.

wouldnt travel with the team when he wasnt pitching.

no class.

brett favre was the epitome of class.

only thing he ever did was kept people waiting for a little longer than they should on his decision on wether to hang em up or not.

I agree, Clemens was and is a schmuck getting his HGH comeuppance right now, but Favre played the retirement game up until near the season's start many times-jeopardizing his team's future.

i think in favres case, alot of the retirement talk came from the media and sources other than favre.

he just never really gave straight answers when asked about it.

Don't be such a hater...the only player that comes to mind that went out well, was John Elway...ummm...Jerome Bettis, I suppose as well.

It doesn't happen all that often...so to judge a 17-year veteran, with how many league MVPs and records...plus a 1-1 record in the big game...on his last play...that's just hateful...

My best friend had season tickets to the Lions back then and I got to see him play 5 or 6 times in person. RIDICULOUS! and that was on a piss poor excuse for a team.
