Come say goodbye to the patio as the summer season draws to a close at the Corner Pocket's Outdoor Patio Concert Series (my fabricated title). This is really a great place.

We cuddled on Monday night and it was 63 at midnight. Of course I'll hold you big boy.

Nice flyer Ollie. Thanks.

Hope to see any and all tonight. There's a full moon. I smell a hint of Armageddon in the air. Just a hint.

Actually I did a couple electric gigs this summer.

Just like riding a bicycle...well...maybe a miniature bicycle.

The LDS is great. It really works well for the upright- nice lows, great mids, clean highs. The only complaint I have is power handling. If I get on it too much, it distorts. Typically, I don't need a ton of power, but there have been a couple shows that I could have used an extension cabinet.

I'm going to eventually pick up an EA Whizzy though. Those things just can't be beat for upright. I think it would compliment the LDS well for louder gigs and do a great job by itself for the smaller shows. I'm lazy, I don't want to carry any more equipment than I have to. I'd rather make the P.A. do the work.

Don can build you a wizzy style cabinet too - for a lot less money. Ken Jung (talkbass) had him build one and gave it great reviews.
