Well, it's certainly media documentation, but is not really empirical proof. It improves my understanding of the situation and I'm glad for it. I'd like to see corroboration and citations. Thanks for the links.

Well, would the IAEA report be enough for you? Page 3 I think had the reports of enrichment particles, and page 5 had a description on modeling uranium into hemispheres. Hemispheres of HEU have two uses.

#1. Really heavy, glowing paperweights.
#2. Nuclear weapons.

Here's the thing. OK, so they enriched to 50%. No big deal. Except this was not in a laboratory, but in a production facility. And to top it off, it had a different chemical signature than the "contaminated" items Iran received from Pakistan. Which means most likely it came from Iran's own program.

There's much much more, but I have a call in eleven minutes. Let me know what you might need documentation wise.

That's certainly a start. Now, I need some time to read and digest.

I love being able to ask for this stuff. . .and people give it to me. fornicatin' A!

If not a slightly inaccurate one... Besides, France also was of the belief that Hussein had WMDs (as was 99% of the rest of the world). That doesn't mean they have the testicular fortitude to do anything about it.

For a country that is supposed to "hate" us, they have a funny way of doing it, electing someone to build closer ties with the United States...

War on a whim, what a great idea!
This system cannot be reformed or voted out of office because reforms and elections do not challenge the fundamental causes of injustice.

define "whim" for me please. Most of the world believed he was rebuilding his WMD aresenal and was seeking to obtain nukes as well. EVERYONE with an ounce of sense believed he would use those nukes as soon as he had the capability and opportunity. He violated every provision of his agreement with the UN, including shooting at our planes which were patrolling the "no-fly" zone. AND he attempted to assasinate a sitting US President. He should have been dealt with earlier, as should have Bin Laden, but Clinton was too busy defending himself in court to deal with it.

Is it me, or is only one side of this debate presenting coherent points and evidence which support their claims?

Actually, we almost had him again last week. He's got quite an elaborate protection system in place. Doesn't help that Pakistan is scared to death of him and won't help much.
