Looking to start or join a Death/Black Metal band

I just moved to Fort Wayne couple months ago and I would like to get back into the music scene. I played Lead Guitar and can sing. I have many original materials written so we can start with that but I would like others input as well. I've been around music for a while now and have stage and studio experience. Some of my influences are Randy Rhoads, Glenn Tipton, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Zakk Wylde. And my band influences, Dimmu Gorgir, Dark Funeral, Immortal, Cradle of Filth and Children of Bodom.
