Why does the turning of a calendar page to start a new year
have to be the bellweather for someone to change and
improve themselves. Why wait till then?
Because we put it off until then.
I think it's human nature to use specific dates to review your past. NYE, birthdays, anniverseries, etc.

That is where I would be comfortable. (for folks that dont know me keep in mind I am also 6'5)
200 is probably about right. I'm not sure what the "ideal" or "average weight is, but I'm 6'7", and I've been 200 for quite a few years...it seems to be healthy and I don't look sick or obese. haha.

Well, unfortunately. A few years ago when I started working out in college, I had a goal to get up to 240, because I thought I would be huge then (I was hovering around the 210 area pretty consistently back then). So I started lifting and I got up to 237, and I looked a bit bigger. Then I had a hernia problem, and I lost 10 pounds of it. Then I stopped lifting after I graduated, and started working...then I lost 15 of it. Then I went on tour with a band...six more gone. Then I got dumped and I was broke...now I'm 200.

I had my "ideal" weight figured out by a PhD at Huntington University. According to his number, my "ideal" weight is around 275 lbs and I'm 5'11". This has been confimed by my family doctor as well. I hit that weight when I was in college and was wearing a 2x shirt and was thin.
My weight right now is significantly over that, but hopefully the classes are going to up my metabolism a bit.

I spit soda on my screen cuz of that one!
I don't believe in "resolutions". If you want to do something to "make your life better", do it. As a great Master once said...."Do or do not. There is no try."

Yeah 200 sounds good, I never felt comfortable when i was in the 170-180s. I like having some meat on my bones.
Yeah I remember the first time I met you at Columbia Street, I am always happy to meet people my size let alone people actually taller then me.
Does anyone work out at the Y here? (I know someone is going to change this) I need someone to get my fat ass in gear, I have let myself go and feel like crap.

Us abnormally tall folk must stick together!
I used to love it when I was in the IPFW weight room and the basketball team would come in. It was about the only time in my life where I was in the majority.
