$5 unlimited text messaging is all i gotta say.

text messaging???

Ando, are you 13 year old girl with a hello kitty phone?

I have a few friends that text message all the time...and I laugh at them constantly...IMO, that is one step worse that sitting in front of a computer IMing regularly and two steps worse than checking one's myspace account multiple times a day for comments...

well.. I've devestated several phone key pads with my constant text messaging...

and it has it's ups and downs... if the only way you communicate is through text messaging then you might have a communication problem (not saying names).

but there are times when text messaging is better because of where ever you're at.

i've become a little a very little less reliant on the text messaging and i'm beginning to pick up the phone and just call people more often.

I was waiting for X-Men to start last night and the two douche-bags next to me were having a fight over text messaging. It went a little sumthin' like this:

Male Douche: "You just kept ignoring me at B-Dubs, thats why I texted you."

Female Douche: "I was not ignoring you and that text was so wrong. And I missed Alison's text because of it. Now she's pissed because she thinks....."

It went on for fifteen minutes into the previews when the enormous man sitting on the other side of them said, "If you two don't shut the hell up for this movie I am going to take a bite out of your idiot boyfriend here." Needless to say, I reached across the morons and gave the guy a high five.

What's the difference in that and posting/visiting here multiple times daily?

The difference is that I don't like myspace...

And the "tool" ratio is a lot lower around here:)

I'll admit, I'm addicted to myspace, checking fwm/fwhh.com & e-mails a gazillion times a day and a TM here & there does brighten my day.

But, I have little patience for people who ONLY TM. I don't care if you don't 'like' to talk on the phone. I refuse to 'up my TM plan on your account. If you're my friend, you'll anser the phone when I call. If not, you're out of the loop.

Exceptions:
When stuck at work
In a meeting
At a show
At the tittie bar
In church (not that I have many friends that partake in this activity anyhow...)
Cell/Cordless battery low
Hot "finger-on-keyboard" action

Quantity, not quality, Ando. I agree with you, that the quality of FWM tools beats myspace, but they greatly surpass us on volume...

Wow. I am almost feeling normal now. I've never had a cell phone. Never!
And all my friends keep poking me with the fact that I have a fairly tech intensive job, but somehow seem to ignore technology altogether. ha ha

Anyways, I've been thinking about getting a cell. Who do you all recommend?
