I've got a best buddy of mine who went into seminary (sp) to a lot of our surprise

Long story short.

One Sunday morning a couple weeks ago my friends and I went to see said buddy of ours do a guest sermon. Another buddy of mine in attendance said "WHAT THE HELL, I'M AT CHURCH AT 8AM ON A SUNDAY MORNING, (OUR FRIEND) IS GIVING THE SERMON, AND THE CUBS ARE IN FIRST PLACE! I THINK HELL JUST FROZE OVER"

Seriously, isn't this a little bit like when St. Mary's of Over the River and Through the Woods wins the Middle Western Academics and Athletics Conference? Sure, they get a bid to the tournament, but it barely counts.

Now if only Duke could blow them out.

They said the same thing about the Cardinals last year - and the Tigers for that matter. Cards beat the Tigers in the World Series. It's baseball, not basketball. 2 hot pitchers and you could ride them all the way to the world series.

Sorry guys, but all of my teams are in the toilet. My Sox finished just three games ahead of the Royals

My college and pro football teams are a combined 0-9

If I can't keep making fun of the Cubs, what will I have left?

10:00pm start time...what the f**k. I don't care if it's in Arizona...the majority of the audience is on the East Coast. Start the f'ing game at 7:00pm EST and those on the West coast that want to watch will watch. Starting @ 10pm loses a HUGE chunk of your audience.
