...and he's not even hosting his own radio show???

I thought this week was supposed to be a "Best of..." week???

Did I miss something? I'm not a hardcore Dan Patrick fan but this past month PLUS has sucked with all of the different hosts they've used. Not one host has been worth a damn.

Same thing happened with the Satchmo show-greatest hits all the last week.

I'll miss Dan Patrick, he was one of the few remaining cats I could stomach.

I miss Tony Kornheiser, Dan LeBatard and Erik Kuselias-they all had dope shows.

So what's the reasoning? I don't get to listen to ESPN Radio during the day, just the morning and my drive home from work, so why is he leaving? I know a few weeks ago it sounded like he was up for the Price is Right host job...now he's just leaving altogether?

Is he going to take the Imus show or something?

I read earlier that he's doing another radio show for some company out of Chicago.

He hosted today. Heard it on my lunchbreak. I think ESPN got cranky about him leaving them for the Chi-town show and he had to grovel to get his last week back. He kept thanking ESPN for letting him come on the air and say goodbye his way. He'll be on tomorrow and Sunday too. Today's show was good - David Stern, Reggie Miller, Larry Bird, and Wayne Gretzky. Big names. Good times.

I turned today's show off about an hour into it. I thought it was pretty boring.
