Yep, Devin Townsend. He played and sang on Vai's "Sex and Religion" back in the early nineties, but after the album's tour the band split. He did SYL right after in '95.

that cd is pretty good. i bought it.

If I keep listening to it, I might have to make out with Gene Hoglan. For a 350lb drummer, that dude plays like a chimp on PCP.

I dug out some of the 'ol Vandals discs. I love that band, Freese is great (He is now Sting's full time drummer, and he played drums for Devo during this past reunion tour). I also think Warren Fitzgerald is a totally underrated guitarist, he's so much fun.
