Battle scars suck. It's even worse when someone else puts the first ding on it.

I was so in love with my Gibson Standard that I took it in the shitter to play it while I dropped a deuce. The strap slipped off the post and the body of the guitar slammed into the cast iron tub and made a nice big crack. I was so pissed at myself.

got it via (late) FedEx today. this thing is absolutely gorgeous. everything in the pictures that looks like flat white (ie: headstock binding, fleur de lis inlay, fret markers) are all very flamey mother of pearl.

it plays like an absolute dream....i normally have Brian Lemert set up all my guitars before gigging them, but this needs nothing. it plays and sounds beautiful.

see/hear it for the first time this Saturday at Legends!!
