The kid has a 0.12 ERA, has thrown 55 innings, given up 1 ER, has 101 K's, 15 hits allowed...radar gun registers as high as 99mph when he throws.

Amazing!

Wonder if he'll make first team all-state, seeing how he's not from Indy or East Chicago...

Nice! Wonder if he'll sign and turn pro or go to college.

He signed a letter to go to Georgia Tech, but I think he'll go pro. I've seen the guy throw and few times this year and he's awesome. He had a couple pitches that reached 100 on the radar gun against Luers. The #9 draft pick last year signed for 2.1 Million. I don't see how you can turn down that kind of money and risk getting hurt in college. Best of all, he's a great kid who has his head on straight.

Honestly, it would be stupid for him to go to school, especially if the Diamondbacks are willing to sign him for big bucks.

If he gets the $2.1 mill, after taxes and agents, that will pay for his school several times over.

Oh, I'd definitely turn pro given that chance. You can always go back to college - I just graduated this year at 36, and I was one of the youngest people in my class.
