Back-formation is an euphemism for incorrect usage. A back formation is " the formation of what looks like a root word from an already existing word which might be - but is not - a derivative of the former."

and besides. . .it's not an essay, it's an artistic expression. if lyrics and poems were limited to grammatically correct structure and proper spelling, it would take a major blow.

dictionary.com is one of my favorite sites, and I'm a "lexiphile", so I understand the etymological terms and don't need them explained to me.
