WE SERIOUSLY NEED A BASS PLAYER AND GUITARIST!!

Post by GRAVE ROBBER »

Hey there!

We need a brutal guitarist and bass player. Dan and Morrison are leaving to pursue other things. We currently have label interest and need to find the absolute right guys for the job!

We are a horror punk band with influences of Misfits, Danzig, Alice Cooper, Type O Negative, and The Ramones.

We are also a band with a message of Hope for a dying world all wrapped up nice and tight in a presentation of blood, guts, and horror. Read as: Christians. We are looking for fellow believers who have the same influences and convictions as us and. . . wanna be in a theatrical punk band!

We want to tour.

We want someone with a sense of humor who isn't a primadonna. We don't want musicians with baggage or "issues" who act bi-polar. (THIS IS NOT A REFERENCE TO DAN OR MORRISON AT ALL. We are simply letting you know what we are NOT looking for)

STAGE PRESENSE AND PRO GEAR IS A MUST!!!!

If you think you are the guy for either job, email Wretched at:

Caveat Emptor: They are a christian band. Just thought I'd point that out.

I'm pretty sure everyone knew that given Shawn Browning's involvement. Please don't turn this into a bash Christian music thread.

WHY? Why do you feel the need to point that out? What do you gain by that? So you want to make sure that everyone knows that this band is one of "Those bands", right? Maybe your little dungeons and dragons playing, Deicide listening, angry white boys can have something more to get their panties in a bunch about.

Well, everyone already knows what we're about and guess what? No one really cares.

I was trying to find someone to play in my band. That was my purpose for what I posted.

I'd really like to know what your purpose was.

Wanna meet me face to face for some coffee and talk about it?

Probably not. You'd find out I'm a pretty swell guy and then you'd have to admit there's at least one Christian you like.

Have a nice day,

hard times

Post by LD25Delta9 »

I find the need to accentuate, or point out, that a band is christian, is a issue of morals. Something that religion was founded upon. Some would say that music was founded on the same thing....common ground. so don't hate bands because of their message, for not everyone has the same common ground...one word that should be synonamous with music is RESPECT. Something that should be a given, however, is not these days. Keep on keepin' on with the search guys. if I played that style I'd try out.
