Diplomacy Works!

In North Korea. Now maybe the Bushies will try it elsewhere in the world. It's kind of refreshing to see him not jump into attack mode when he feels threatened.

Seriously though - this may be a large first step in ending a HUGE threat.

True enough, but it's at least some reason t be hopeful - more than we've had out of N.K. in some time.

Part of the reason diplomacy (aka "strong-arming") worked here is our proven willingness to use force if necessary, even if that decision was unpopular. You can't intimidate somebody if they don't think you'll really kick their ass if you decide you need to.
