from my contact @ White Castle Corporate:
Happy Holidays, Our Real Estate Manager for Indianapolis and its environs informs me that he has started looking at property in and around Fort Wayne--nothing beyond that yet, but he is looking. Our Chicago Real Estate Manager has also begun looking at property in and around South Bend as well - so northeastern Indiana is going to have a White Castle presence.
one step closer!!

Do they own a MAP? South Bend is nowhere NEAR northeast Indiana. . .

Well, I'm coming up on Friday, but I won't be able to go to the NoRA show because I've been planning on Ho J for months before I even knew about you guys' show, plus I'm meeting a new friend out at C-Street. So anyway, if I do get you a Crave Case, how do you want me to get it to you and what do you want in it?

If anyone else on here wants a Crave Case and can meet me at C-Street this Friday at around 11:30 or so PM me. I'll gladly pick one up for you for the cost of the Crave Case plus a $5 handling/delivery/stinking up my car with Slyder smell fee. There would definitely be a limit (as I'll have limited funds to buy Crave Cases with) and I'll only accept orders from people I know who aren't going to screw me and not show up.

Let me know.

At lunch Thursday you can find me at Powers wallowing in oniony burger goodness.

You are correct sir; however, South Bend does pick up a few Chicago radio and TV stations. According to your reply from WC, that is what they're looking for...somewhere new but where they can use an existing advertising source. South Bend would fit that bill.

Ahhhh...gotcha. Sorry bro, but I'm gonna be pushing it to even make it into town by 11:00 you guys' time and if I have to choose between you and Homeless J, well, no offense, but it will be Homeless J every time, especially considering that they've got a sh*t ton of new material that I haven't heard yet.

Also, you hate White Castle and you're not a big fan of Coney Island? Are you a closet commie? I'm just asking because disliking those two places seems like something that a commie would do. :-s

Depends.

I have errands to run early, so probably a little later... 1:00-ish maybe?

I guess it shows how far, we've come, OA, that some people considered 'regulars' don't know that "Iggy" trolls these boards on a semi-regular basis....and would possibly object to such heresay and slander.

Plus the bread wasn't hard, and the freakin potato soup rocked!
they might've changed it after a while then, but i only ever ate at it when it was in the north anthony shopping center, where do it best used to be.. in that strip..
both my friend and i thought it was too solid for us.. we went there once when it was new and didn't try giving it a 2nd chance.

$4.00 for a sub isn't exactly expensive.

I absolutely can not stand hard bread...and Iggy's never had hard bread when I went there and I used to go there weekly (on Anthony, too) so I'm guessing it was just a 1-time bad experience for ya. It's a shame that you missed out.

Mmm Wisconsin Cheddar soup that gives me 3rd degree burns on my lips...
