Joy got nixed... not our arrangement. We had permission to record it and give it away to church members, but not for commercial airplay or sales.

I'm submitting a killer arrangement of "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" though.

Y'all need to come to Christmas Eve service at our Church. It will be mellow, but killer.

We're working to post all the songs on the station website that have been submitted, so's all can hear them with ease.

Having said that, if anyone DOESN'T want their song posted, let me or Hammer know soon.

There's some real talent in this city....This should help let more people know about it......

(WARNING! TIC ALERT--110%!!)

....even if the bands ARE just doing COVER TUNES.

Anyone know if Sunny, Matt, and Kenny Taylor's tunes are available for download anywhere?

Tiny, will the tunes be available for download off of the Fort's site?

That is the goal, my brutha.

Of course, me being thin, good looking and rich were all once goals, too....and see what happened there.

More details as they develop.

We'll have to see about a CD...although we ARE talking about one for next year already......

The first eight songs are up on the website at http://www.923thefort.com.

The good news is, we'll have more time to do this thing next year....and local musicians will have all year to get something ready......

Enjoy!

Let me share something with you hepkitties and kats that dawned on me while writing this review. Theres this struggling roots rock band from Indiana, on a tiny indie label, getting ready to record their second album for public consumption. In their eyes, this could be the one that gets them noticed by a major label, and off the beaten path of exhaustive one night stands in any club that will pay them, in any burg that will have them. And if their lucky, they can afford something a little more substantial in their bellies than truck stops

huh?

Tiny,

Can we please have the Trainhoopers tune, too? The Taylor's tunes would be cool, too!

Much obliged,
Shawn

AA-

That's what the track brings up in the 'puter when you load it in. Fine tuning has not happened, obviously. Spelling errors belong to Hammer, and will also be fixed.

Shawn-
Basically ran out of time. Will get Matt Taylor's tune up ASAP, as well as the T-Hoppers.

Sunny still hasn't got hers in....nor has the Geo Trio. If you see any of them, kick 'em gently in the arse....

It would sound arrogant to say that I'm impressed by the musicianship displayed, but I WILL venture that I'm delighted with the creativity and talent that has been expressed. I think ALL the songs are great, and can't wait to hear more.

Props to Hammer for the legwork on this one....a real nice addition to the station, and hopefully a way to expose more local talent to the people NOT already involved in the 'scene'.

Happy holidays, in case the last days of A-Z claim my few remaining threads of sanity. On the other hand, it's ALWAYS Christmastime in the asylum.......

Seriously,

THANK YOU, TINY!!!!

I love this idea. Mrs Migraine and I have prolly the bigest collection of Christmas cds in Fort Wayne, so I was very excited about this project.

Sooooooooooo, next year how about a double disc? One with this years tracks and one with new ones. What say you?

Rock on,
Shawn

Proxify.com...

I would also like to mention I am soon to be setting up a proxy portal for anyone that is unfortunately blocked from sites like FortWayneMusic.com. It will help you all get 'around' the net...;)

You are my best friend. proxify is blocked though...
