We all dig your show man, and that's what matters. Everyone has a few detractors. I'm sure there are even some people (misguided though they may be) that don't like my stuff. In my opinion and the vast majority of FW will agree with me I think) you're outstanding. Just keep doing what you're doing.

Any chance this was sent by a friend in a really poor attempt at being funny? It's so bad it almost made me laugh.

I sincerely thought that it was humourous...you took time out of your day to try and insult someone...yet it just proved to be messageboard entertainment for others. I also found it interesting how inarticulate you were when you wrote it...that just makes me think it was either written by- 1. someone unintelligent or 2. someone who wrote vehemently without regard to the standard english language...I assumed it both, which made it even more humourous to me.

I guess my problem is, if you don't like someone's music, don't listen. There's no need to go out and flame them online. If you've got constructive criticism to offer, that's great. But hiding behind the anonymnity of an online forum like myspace is cowardly, immature, and stupid. If you've got something you just have to say to an artist, say it in a repectful manner. This is actually bigger than just "Kofa rocks, this guy is a tool." It goes to the heart of a larger issue. If he doesn't like Sankofa's music, that's fine. It can't be everyone's cup of tea (though it is mine). He's free to NOT listen. It's a really simple solution.

@ Jenn - good for you, loved your writings to him.
