I don't have to known everything about an artist to like them

I love you, Julie!

I've been preaching the same thing for years. Most/some/few of you know that I'm into jambands. Kids in that scene are this way. It's like if you can't name a certain date that a certain version of a certain song was played, you don't deserve to call yourself a fan. To that, I say lick my ass. I like what I like and just because I don't know the name of the fat chick he nailed after a show at the Fleet Center, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate and enjoy his music.

In fact, I choose to have a life outside of music, as foreign as that may sound to some people.

(Editor's note: I am just offering my opinion. Not taking any sides in regards to the pissing contest.)

I have always surrounded myself with music GEEKS and am comfortable in my own skin as a music NERD. Basically, I have many mood swings and feel my taste in music reflects that. But, let it be known when it comes to The Cure or Misfits, I can geek with the best of 'em.

And to clarify, I dig Greg. I just feel the need to ride his ass & give him ish as much as possible...

I know he thinks I am a poser/fake/sellout with no originality/creativity & a big mouth, while similarly I think he's an elitist hipster that needs to get out more, get to know "people" better, sugar-coat his writing less and not kiss so much ass.

(Don't eat me alive for that one, Greg....I'm just fu(king with you!!)
