Get on the Front Page

Upload your music here and there's a good chance it will show up on the home page. The algorithm I have is complicated, so I won't try to explain it, but it's based on the newness of the track, the number of times it's been listened to, and some randomness, so if you get a new track up, it's likely to show up on the front page.

Good luck, and I look forward to hearing your songs!

Yours in rock,
Garr

P.S. others should get their ears out there and listen to the great stuff we have in the music area. At the very least, throw down a rating, but if you have something constructive to say, leave some comments!

I think I maximized the amount of songs I can upload. Will it be possible in the future to delete them so I can have copies of new tracks?

I'm still learning the details of that mod, so I'll look into it. I didn't know that they had a cap on the number of tracks you could contribute. I'll look into it tomorrow after I get off work and try to get you an answer before the day's end.

Ok...fixed the limits...set to 50...if you go over that let me know and I will fix it again..:) I can set to unlimited, but I know that will come back to bite me...

We are also limited to 1024 songs per category...;)

Also changed the display order to list recent uploads in the top list thingy...They will now display the most recent UPLOAD when you go to the music page...UNLESS someone wants something else there??? I can sort acending or decending by: time, rate, comments, listened too, song title, username new comment added. SUGGESTIONS?

There are plenty of bells and whistles for that MOD...
