Cornell's new disaster

Chris Cornell's new solo album will be released next month, and the first single "No Such Thing" has already found its way onto the net. I'm a fan, but after listening to this new single, I can't imagine how horrible this new album will be...
The vocals are WAY OFF and do not fit most of the song. It sounds like parts of a few different songs were just sloppily thrown together. Have a listen to "No Such Thing" here:

Didn't sound off to me. Far from his best work, but certainly not the disaster you paint.

Not his best. But certainly not a trainwreck. He's working AND he's signed AND he's got thousands of fans. Pretty Cool!!!

I'll listen to this soon, I hope. Euphoria Morning was a great album. . .I hope that the new one is just as good. . .but maybe something different from bluesy.

Apparently the album is going to "encompass a variety of musical genres including blues, psychedelia, and country."
I thought the chorus of the song just felt off, but the verses aren't that bad.

it's chris cornell... and you're talking about his vocals being off. His vocals are ALWAYS off.
Hate him.
