The (ubiquitous) Sounds of Ecuador?

Okay,what's up with these guys?
You've seen this combo playing at 3RF: Sounds of Ecuador. They usually have a guitar, a sequenced keyboard, sometimes some percussion, and a flute and panpipe playing traditional, haunting authentic Ecuadoran melodies through a traditional, haunting half second of authentic digital reverb.
The thing is: I was vacationing in San Francisco last week, and there was the Sounds of Ecuador playing away on Pier 39.
I am at the Indy State Fair today, and there they are again, playing El Condor Pasa for the billionth time!
Either this is some sort of franchise with multiple bands, or these guys are following me around the country! I am not that important, as to have my own soundtrack. . .
