weeds theme song to get re-worked

Tired of the theme song to Showtime's pot-centric series "Weeds"? Perhaps star Mary-Louise Parker was too. The show's opening tune, "Little Boxes," will be reinterpreted each week of its upcoming second season by different artists, including Death Cab for Cutie, Elvis Costello, Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis, Tim DeLaughter of the Polyphonic Spree, Regina Spektor and Ozomatli. Guests on the second season — which kicks off August 14 — will include Zooey Deschanel and Snoop Dogg, who will star as himself and record a song about smoking on the show.
