Ummmm yeah....

So, I saw all your nifty billboards around town, and against my gut instinct I decided to tune in and give your station a listen.

Well...I uhhhh.... HATE IT.

Did I mention HATE?

I know its a strong word, but I lack proper vocabulary since your wimpy milquetoast station sucked the remaining active brain cells from my head and left me with the smoldering stump of a brain stem.

I mean, c'mon guys...easy listening?

Whomever is responsible for rehashing a rehashed format...Thanks again for missing the opportunity to offer this one-horse town an alternative to the typical radio fodder.

Now before you get all puffy and start spouting "demographics" and a "weak market" and" its about business"...just shut your pie hole and think of this...

I don't care.

You gave just another reason to love my sweet, sweet MP3 player and my library of CD's

Be sure to say Hi! for me to all of your advertisers that I wont ever get to know because I have permanently pulled the tuning knob from all of my radios.

Luv.
Ollie.

Soft Rock...Less Talk.

Gee Ollie, I didn't know you were pre-op?!? Why the %#$@ would you think you'd LIKE the station? Even the billboards aren't THAT well done...

Why would you think that their new 'lite AC' format would appeal to you any more than, say....geriatric clown porn?

At least with the GCP, you might pick up a pointer or two....experience IS after all the best teacher....

And no, radio isn't going anywhere. Not as long as there are a BILLION sets in the US that can listen for FREE anywhere...anytime. The victrola didn't kill radio. Neither did 45s, 8 tracks, cassettes, CDs, or Walkmen. Radio has a long life ahead....not to derail the thread, just stating facts.

Soft Rock, to sum up the problem with Ollie's original rant...is neither. You should have already known that. Whose bad is that??

geriatric clown porn

hehehehe

Tiny, I was hoping you would post.

I dialed in just to 'see'. Sorta like looking at clown porn...sometimes ya just gotta check it out to confirm that it is wrong.

My disappointment is that with the limited number of stations that this market can carry, that yet another 'new' station offers nothing new at all.

Thanks for insight.

Doubt it....no one to run it. "Less talk" means no jocks.

More time for Gino Vanelli songs, though!!! WOOT!!
