Wow, great list of drummers but I'm suprised no one has mentioned Matt Cameron from Soundgarden. Am I the only fan?

Neil Peart---my dad got to jam with him once because Neil is a friend of my dad's old drumming instructor, and he scored two backstage passes, also.

Matt McDonough----He is the most underrated drummer out there. He is phenomenal in music, and his time signatures are amazing and overwhelming.

For me its Josh Freese of the Vandals (punk rock) and A Perfect Circle (progressive rock), some of his stuff is so....i don't know how to explain it. Hes touring with nin, and i really can't wait to see him play. Plus hes a session drummer and has apeared on over 2500 albums. Best drummer on earth PERIOD.

Big fan of Carter Bouford of Dave Mathews Band as well.
