There is more to music than recycling the same ideas....seek out uncharted territories.
And yet you like the Stones?
I'm not attacking you or anything. I am betting that you are a Beatles man, though. From what you stated above, you'd have to be.

I really don't know what it is about The Stones...I suppose I just grew up with them...Sticky Fingers was the first CD I owned.
That's funny then, because the Beatles cruised in and out of so many influences and genres and did it really well. I'd figure you'd be all over that from the description of what gets your rocket boostin' in music.

well, I didn't live through that time period. To me the Beatles (&Elvis) are the ground floor to rock 'n roll. I have heard their catalog so many times I have become numb to it. (I have worked in retail for 11 years....i have probably heard their songs more that Paul McCartney has.)
And don't get me wrong....I am not into just breaking the mold of music for the sake of doing something off the wall. I am somewhat conservative in that regard. I just don't want to be fed the same meat and potatoes each day of the week. Do you follow?

I guess so.

Korn - no question
Most of the others have been stated already
Rascall Flatts
Confession time - AC/DC is a personal guilty pleasure. I don't know what it is, but something about their songs just makes me want to crank up the radio, pump my fist in the air and bang my head. Although I no longer have any hair, so it looks even sillier than it used to.

this reggaeton stuff is for the birds - btw - do people actually enjoy it?
this thread reminds me of the conversations we used to have at the nickel about bands/musicians we hated ... it revolved around a bus going over a cliff and who we really really wanted on board!
