Brian Setzer New CD

Post by Mr.Fiedler »

Has anyone heard his new cd? He has taken all classic music, and redone them with the big band. I love Setzer stuff, but I gotta say...This is a stretch. While it is kinda cool to hear how creative he is, My first thought on it was...Hell this is cool elevator music.

I have it.

C+

While I appreciate the arrangements and the level of talent in his band, the subject material was a bit of a stretch and it all feels like filler.

More like a killer novelty than a solid attempt.
