whatzup / Matt Kelley / Bob Dylan

Post by GxWxLx »

If you head over to www.whatzup.com you can access the new interactive version of whatzup and read Matt Kelley's Bob Dylan story before the issue even hits the streets.

The story is AMAZING. I've never been happier about passing on a story.

Also online tomorrow will be a second Bob Dylan story, again written by the multi-talented Matt Kelley.

The drawing on the cover is by Dusty Neal, another uber-talented guy.

Once again M. Kelley makes J. Sox-Smith feel insufficient.

Very well done, Matt, with both articles. The online-only is a better read, but they're both awesome.

I cannot believe how enveloping the online article is.

It makes me wish I wasn't so busy so I could sit down proper and have an evening's worth of conversation with him.

A good read indeed.

Now I have a better understanding of when I jokingly said to Matt, "You know Dylan sucks. He's just a two-bit acoustic player who was in the right place at the right time." He refused to talk to me for the rest of the day if I remember correctly.

You're all very kind. Thank you, and thanks to Greg for giving me the opportunity to remember some things I hadn't thought about in a long time.

By the way, the cover of this morning's Journal-Gazette 'Weekender' has a giant photo of Bob from Newport, wearing the fake beard and wig. No kidding.
