That spicey pasta chicken-y salad that Becky ofen fed me was, as certain folk might say, "bonzai"
Hot "finger-on-keyboard" action

I do! I do!

Played my first gig there.

BroomPenny was also the first band to play the Firefly. Woot! They didn't invite us back. I think it was the Godsmack.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but on Saturday mornings when I just have to stay awake after a full night of working and three hours of class ahead of me, it's my one stop shop.

All of the women I have seen working there are smokin' hot.

One complaint: for a big person like me, it feels way too cramped in there. It's got to be purely neurotic because I did not feel the same way about IJ's. . .I just feel like the walls are closing in on me when I'm there. I feel like a Bull in a China store.

i do i do! I believe I was still attending Concordia HS at that time.

Firefly does make great espresso drinks...

But honestly, I usually go there when I want a SANDWICH and an espresso drink...

Their sandwiches are great...

I don't really care for Firefly. I played there a couple times, and they were just really rude to me.

Good coffee. I got a big ol' cup to go the other day on my way to hanging tou at Jam Crib, and it was the bee's. Can't remember what the daily buzz was... House Blend, maybe, but it was very nice.

Can't speak to the ambience... I'm too old to hang around.

Next to Starbucks they are definitely the most overpriced coffee place in town. Oh yeah, they also use much smaller cups for their small drinks then other places do. I am a vegan and no matter where I go I have to spend $4.50 for anything besides plain coffee because of the big price just on soy or rice milk. But besides the ridiculous expense and small cups they are just dandy.

Brew your own and stop wasting all those damn paper cups!

When I went to SanFrancisco I thought I'd found good coffee...
When I went to Izzy's in Asheville, I thought I'd found good coffee...
When I got back to Fort Wayne and back to the Firefly...

...I realized that the staff probably puts crack in the coffee cause I love the sh*t and its better than coffee from anywhere... except Cafe-Gratitude in SF but thats like $4 for a small cup, and you have to be polite.
