Like it alot, very chill place, where everybody knows your name or has seen your face.

Gotta admit, the blues jam is sucking nowadays, which is why I've ignored it now for so long, also cause I've been on walkabout.

Moneys got one on Tuesdays at Buckets.

Lee Lewis runs it now on Wednesday at MId City, and lets more things happen than just three songs and out, and more music than just blues.

Don't turn up to 11 anywhere. period. But you have to be very conscious of volume there, because the venue has to be very conscious of volume there, because it's in a residential area and they've had complaints in the past. It's one of the best live music venues in the city, so it's best not to have too many/any noise complaints from the surrounding residents or we'll lose it completely.

you'll be deaf by 35. No, seriously, it just depends. At the Rail or somewhere like that, who cares. At a bar where people are ordering drinks, carrying on conversations, etc... it's best to keep the decibel level at a comfortable point. Most bands (including mine) are guilty of playing too loud for the room. fans shouldn't leave a show with ear pain/ringing and in a bar that makes money from alcohol sales, if you want to get asked back you better make damn sure the waitresses and bartenders can hear drink orders.
