hey this is mike with bludspyre...maybe you heard of us? maybe you havent....in any case.
we are a progressive metal band with some heavier riffs and power chords.

this town is full of guitarist, and no one wants to play out huh?
we play out almost every weekend, we dont suck !

you can be under 18 to play bars. i dont know why people keep saying you have to be 18, the thing is that they usually make the people under 18 sit a particular area till they play and then they have to leave after done playing.

We had a drummer that was under 18 and we did bars also.

If you guys are playing originals bars are not where its at to build a following, you need to be playing all ages shows for that.

One of the other reasons why we don't want a under 18yr old in the band is because we don't wanna friggin' babysit. We are a band of different ages and we know how to rock, but it would be kinda hard knowing that we're responsible for getting 17 yr. old Maynard home to his mommy on time. This band will be going out of state, another reason why we need someone over 18. The reason why the bars have let you guys play is probably because you haven't told them your drummers age. Could that possibly b a factor: probably. Because it IS illegal to have performers under 18 in a bar.

haha, no we told the venues his age. he was 17 and bad ass. it was totally worth it him being the age he was.

by the way some of the greater musicians in history have been under 18. if you guys are in that much need for a musician i wouldnt think that someone being 16 or 17 would matter.

Well, we can't find anyone as great as our guitarist that's the thing, and he's the friggn' baby of the band. If someone can come up to me and play guitar better than tonez, I will personally get down and kiss their @$$.
