Playing kind of country/blues and need a lead player and a drummer (or anyone else interested). Would prefer some experience.Control not an issue, but a place to practice is.

To get a idea of the kind of music we currently doing, here's a few examples...

He never says hello . . . He just says whats on his mind when he calls.....
"Let's start a band " he says out of nowhere.

Larry and I have been trackin tunes for nearly two years . . .
I bring in the changes . . .
put down the accoustic track over a drum track . . .
go away . . . come back in a few days. . . or weeks . . . . .
add the vox
( After Larry's added Bass and anything else he conjured up for the tune }

Then after a "final" mix ..... we move on to the next tune.

Never "playing" the song again.

And he says "Let's Start a Band :!: "

To play these tunes LIVE means we must relearn the tune and "practice"
..... and learn to play AND sing at the same time . . . . together. . . .
AND put enough material together . . . to have a "viable product"
. . . read that one more "endurance" related than anything else . . . . . .
PLUS find a drummer willing to put up with us plain ol' Americans doing our plain ol' American ditties . . .
and of course there are very few venues here in Ft Wayne for "our Type" of stuff.
Crap . . . . we don't even know what OUR TYPE of stuff IS !

What other excuses should I come up with ? ? ?

Larry should at least learn to say Hello first. . . .

Thanks for lettin' me vent.

John
1/2 of KBC . . . . so far

ps
Know a Drummer close to Ft Wayne, IN who could be in the same room with two 50+ Americans ? Jam first . . . relationship second

Hey,
I am interested in at least talking. I play lead and rhythm. Sing lead and backup. Been playing for about 40 years. Played with Powerhouse, Nostalgia, Southern Comfort, Fantasy, Fewdle Lords. Have played locally since the late 60's. Play all styles. Not real big on jazz, but good for rock, classic rock, rock-a-billy, country, Christian rock etc. Have great personal equipment. Marshall combo, GT8 preamp, GR 33 synth, Brian Moore guitar. Would love to here you ideas and see if we have something that would gel.
Jerry
