Avoid "IDOL" anything.

The producers of AI are rabid about that.

Try the ROCK STAR angle.

Just a note: I saw a band that did this for a while when their lead singer up and quit. They just made a list of all the songs they knew, passed it out and went from there. It was an F'N blast. People loved it, band had a good time. I think this would be an awesome thing guys.

Keep us posted on your progress!!

Good luck!!

Okay, so here's the deal:

So far, I have had 5 drummers, all with solid reputations, one I have played with, contact me... May end up auditioning for two drummers for this one...

I have only one committed guitarist, one "occasional" guitarist and no keyboardists yet. I also have a second bassist lined up.

I need personal emails for all of you. PM or email me.

We're going to be doing a bunch of stuff that comes from cover band hell, including Brown-Eyed Girl, Simple Man, all that fun stuff that people sing at karaoke...

People seem excited about this. We'll see what happens.

I did this in Indy for awhile. It was a whole lot of work to get going but a ton of fun once we got rolling.
