IRVING, Texas (AP) -- The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with free agent offensive lineman Leonard Davis.
Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple confirmed the deal Sunday, but not the details of the agreement. He said a formal announcement by the team was expected Monday.
According to various reports, including a story posted on the team's Web site, Davis agreed to a seven-year contract worth nearly $50 million, including $18.75 million in guaranteed money.
Davis, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2001 draft out of Texas, spent his first six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He played guard for the first four seasons and switched to left tackle in 2004.
He started 91 games for the Cardinals, including all 16 last season, but never became the overpowering Pro Bowl-level player the team envisioned.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys picked up wide receiver Terry Glenn's $5 million roster bonus, virtually assuring he will remain with the team.
"I've talked to Terry and he's very excited," receivers coach Ray Sherman told The Dallas Morning News.
Glenn will earn a base salary of $820,000. He had more than 1,000 yards receiving and six touchdowns last year.

IRVING, Texas (Ticker) - The Dallas Cowboys reveled in the rise of Tony Romo after the fall of Drew Bledsoe.
The NFL's seventh all-time leader in passing yards, Bledsoe was released by the Cowboys on Thursday.
Bledsoe, 35, completed 53 percent of his passes (90-for-169) for 1,164 yards and seven touchdowns with eight interceptions in six games last season before losing the starting job to Romo.
Romo ended up making the Pro Bowl in his first year as a starter, completing 65 percent of his passes (220-of-337) for 2,903 yards and 19 touchdowns with 13 interceptions.
"Drew has been a solid leader for our team and a true professional both on and off the field," Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said.
But Bledsoe's lack of mobility clearly hurt the Cowboys. He was sacked 23 times in just six games.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Bledsoe ranks fifth all-time in completions (3,839) and attempts (6,717) and has passed for 44,611 yards and 251 touchdowns.
The No. 1 overall pick in 1993, Bledsoe was the New England Patriots' starter until getting injured early in the 2001 season. Tom Brady took over at quarterback and ended up leading the Patriots to their first Super Bowl title.
The Buffalo Bills acquired Bledsoe in 2002, but he failed to lead them into the playoffs in three seasons before being released.
The Cowboys then signed Bledsoe in 2005 to replace Vinny Testaverde.
Dallas on Thursday also released tight end Ryan Hannam and guard E.J. Whitley.

DALLAS (TICKER) -- The Dallas Cowboys have apparently found a veteran backup for their young starting quarterback.
According to a report by the Dallas Morning News on Monday, the Cowboys signed Brad Johnson to serve as the backup to Tony Romo.
Johnson, who turns 39 in September, signed a three-year contract worth $7.5 million according to the report.
The Cowboys needed to find a backup quarterback after cutting Drew Bledsoe last week and decided on Johnson, who spent last season with the Minnesota Vikings.
Johnson started 14 games for the Vikings and threw for nine touchdowns and 15 interceptions before being replaced by rookie Tarvaris Jackson for the final two games of the season.
A ninth-round draft pick in 1992 out of Florida State, Johnson has completed 2,620 of 4,237 career passes (61.8 percent) for 28,548 yards with 164 touchdowns and 117 interceptions. He won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay after the 2002 season.
