Goal Line Blitz (Football Sim)

Post by The_Dude »

If you're interested in this sort of thing, this website is the best one for it. As sad as it may be, I'm pretty addicted to it.

I'd like to find a similar site for baseball.

Hey, Spall...your best bet would be to join a CPU team so that you can get skill points for playing in games. It'll take your guy longer to improve if he's not playing games.

I wondered about that. I saw a lot of users that seemed upset that they'd mistakenly joined a CPU team and I didn't want to end up being one of those.

I joined a CPU team and played right away. If you join a user team, they'll probably bench you or at least split time until you get your stats up.

And remember...STAMINA is one of the major things you need to boost whenever possible. The more stamina, the more plays your guy will see.

My punter just signed a big new contract. Apparently my owner has been having trouble finding a good punter, so traded me to one of his better teams...bonus!!!

Man...and that is like, a ton of Flex Points you could have had...geez...that's brutal.

Yeah, this dude is all over my punter's nutz...first game, 8 punts for 20.9 yard average. He was saying that's better than most level 6's he's seen. I'm level 2, at the moment...woot!!!

I'll be glad when the site is running faster. And my QB starts getting some PT!!

I've already received over 600 FP from referrals. I got 50 for the first 10 and right now I have 5 referrals pending. You can only get 850 per year. So that blows. I'm not too worried about it, though.

My QB finally got some PT...and a win:

W 20-14 ( 29/51, 219yds, 1 TD, 1 Int)

51 attempts is insane, but I just hit Level 4 and I still have 80 energy left. I'm working on my stamina right now, but maybe I can get a starting job.

In other news, my punter had a game as well, 12 punts for 24.2 yds/punt...he owns!!!

51 attempts is nothing. I've had over 70 before.

I think it all depends on how your team owner sets the gameplan.
