Brett Favre = Retired.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has decided to retire.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that according to Favre's agent, Buss Cook, Favre informed Packers coach Mike McCarthy of his decision Monday night.

I wouldn't be surprised if he changes his mind. Either that, or he sits out a year and decides that he still thinks he has "what it takes" to play and attempts a "comeback".

Come on...professional athletes never do that. Saying you're retired means your done with the sport for good, right?

I don't see Favre trying to make a comeback...
Now I still wonder every year if Barry Sanders will come back...that's about the only athlete I've seen that I wish wouldn't have retired early...

Well, either that or he's going to quickly demise and Madden has no one to talk about, and therefore doesn't burn nearly enough calories by talking about Favre to offset his eating habits...

thats unfair.
clemens was such a prima donna.
wouldnt come to training camp because he felt he didnt need to.
didnt sign with a team until they payed him 5+ million more than he was worth.
wouldnt travel with the team when he wasnt pitching.
no class.
brett favre was the epitome of class.
only thing he ever did was kept people waiting for a little longer than they should on his decision on wether to hang em up or not.
clemens put himself above the game of baseball, f*ck him.
