good undercard, good knockouts.

kimbo and tank.

both come out throwin, tank doesnt really land anything.

kimbo lands a little, gets him down.

ref stopped the fight because kimbo lost his mouthpiece.

kimbo threw the mouthpiece into the crowd and was trying to get past the ref.

ref let them fight, no mouthpiece for kimbo.

kimbo knocks him down a couple more times, catches him with a right hook, puts him to sleep.

I heard a rumor once, and it could be just that a rumor. I heard that Kimbo really isn't that bad ass, that his fights are very specifically picked for him so he looks tough. That may be why he is fighting this guy, I have know clue who he is. But that may all be rumors.

Kimbo = brawler, relatively new to MMA and trying to make himself a household name.

Tank = brawler, well past his prime in his MMA career and has already made a name for himself, both in MMA and professional "wrestling".

It's a good matchup. If they put him against a well-known BJJ expert, chances are he'd be tapped out within minutes (ie: Brock Lesnar). Name recognition-wise...this is about as good a match as EliteXC can risk making without worrying about Slice getting his ass whooped 30 seconds into the 1st round. It'll draw a crowd and it'll be a bangfest which they're hoping will draw more fans to their relatively unknown promotion.

they were both dusted.

considering gannon was already an mma fighter and a boston cop, it was a miracle kimbo lasted more than two minutes.

kimbo was nothin but a bareknuckle boxer at the time and tore gannons facials up.

Anything goes in a street fight. About 40 seconds in, Kimbo attempted to shoot and take the guy down only to get caught in a guillotine.

I think it had to do more with the fact that Kimbo was gassed than anything else. If they were to have a rematch now, the outcome would likely be different now that KS has some cardio.
