In the wake of Royce Gracie's (Pictures) positive test for steroids, the California State Athletic Commission released details Monday that the Brazilian mixed martial arts icon showed such elevated levels of Nandrolone, a common anabolic steroid, that it could not be registered by the testing lab.

According to the CSAC, a normal person could potentially produce 2 ng/mL of Nandrolone, while an athlete following "rigorous physical exercise" could have a level of 6 ng/mL.

Both "A" and "B" samples provided by Gracie, said the CSAC, "had a level of over 50 ng/mL and we were informed that the level itself was so elevated that it would not register on the laboratory's calibrator."

Gracie, currently on vacation in Spain, told Sherdog.com last week that he has never taken steroids, and that he would file for an appeal.

Yes.

Tim Sylvia was busted a while back.

I think the athletic commission requires it. But I could be wrong. I usually am.

You don't have to look like one to be one.

There are safer ways to do so - albeit slower ways. Creatin has been proven safe and effective - barring a pre-existing kidney disorder. Amino acids, various vitamins - especially A, E and the B's, as well. 'Roids are a good way to kill yourself young, shrink your testicles, grow man boobs.

Oh and dying young... Take a look at Stallone. He found the Fountain of youth, HGH. These ultimate fighter guys are going to die because of getting the crap kicked out of them.

Actually, they have lower rates of long-term injury problems than boxing or football - much lower, in fact.

Yeah, I've been doing the Creatin after workouts and it's worked wonders. I hardly ever have any real soreness and when I do, it goes away within a day, plus I've been able to increase the number of reps and the amount of weight I'm lifting/pressing/pulling/pushing significantly and frequently.

I am however only going to be using it for the short term to help boost my still early stages of weight loss and muscle growth as I've heard that if you use it for a significant amount of time and then stop working out, your muscles will turn to fat pretty quickly.

Yeah, creatin is pretty solid, but good call on using it only short term. I did that same thing...used supplements to boost the early stages, whether that was protein intake or metabolism boosts, but after a couple months, I always quit due to long term health concerns...

All of that stuff will work when used "correctly"...just have to be smart about it. HGH is an awesome "drug", for what it can do...
