I think Manning and Brady are the best QB's out there right now. As a Colt's fan, it was hard to see Brady get the record. The problem I have is that Brady looks like such a whiny b*tch when things don't go his way...
Even when winning he pouts. You can call it "competivness". I call it being a b*tch.

He's won his championship ring, finally exorcising a relentless legion of demons and doubts. Now the quarterback of the Colts can sit in the pocket and let it rip without fearing the consequences.

If the difference between no titles and one title is measured in miles, the distance between one title and two is measured in inches. Manning and Tony Dungy don't have to win it this year, and for the Colts that is a beautiful thing.

They are 13-3 and nobody is talking about them. They are defending Super Bowl champs and nobody is talking about them. They are likely to beat the Chargers at home Sunday to advance to the AFC Championship Game and nobody is talking about them.

Truth is, teams prefer to be ignored and dismissed. Disrespect — real or imagined — is a reliable source of locker-room motivation.

So count the Colts as angry and dangerous.

Didn't Manning get the record in a year where they rested starters while the Patriots this year have left their starters in pretty much all game?

yes he did, and then they lost in the playoffs, frequently chalked up to "rust".

Yes, Manning got the record in a year in which he was benched early in 5 games.

That's why I think its retarded to rest players...it screws up all the numbers. I realize it would suck to get injured in a meaningless game, but injuries can happen at any time and players should just play!

highest completion percentage ever in a playoff game. 142.1 passer rating... but yeah, it's probably just the system.
