This is the women's team final game of their inaugural season hosting the Spitfire this Saturday, 6/16. The game will be at Homestead H.S. (as all their home games are) and kickoff is at 7:05pm.
The team is currently 3-4 and they already whooped up on the Spitfire in Ann Arbor, so hopefully the team finishes its first season at .500. Come on out and support your Fort Wayne Flash!
Everyone with a physical handicap (and one guest) will be let into the game for free and there will be a special half-time show featuring a wheelchair soccer competition.
So, come on out for the team's final game this year. It will be a good time and make sure to head out to Flannigan's for the team's after-party celebration! Support your women athletes!!!

It certainly is a handicap, and no we don't want you to prove it. Do you by chance own a corvette?sevesd93 wrote:Is a really small p*nis considered a physical handicap? And if so, would I have to prove it?

It would certainly lend itself towards speculation...

Okay...
Well, tickets for the general public are only $5 and I think children under 6 get in free. The team has been getting in the 100s of fans at home games, which is nice to see for a brand new semi-pro team in this area. I was on a men's local semi-pro team last year and attendance was usually around 20-30 people and that was with no admission, so it really shows how great an organization the Fort Wayne Flash is becoming.
But the important thing, for fans, is the product on the field. Having coached and worked on the staff for two years, I would compare it favorably to a good high school football game. I actually like these games more than our Freedom and Fusion indoor teams, because there is just something about outdoor football.
So, p*nis/corvette derailment aside, come on out and enjoy a game this Saturday night! Support your area women athletes!

The Flash opened up a can this weekend, 28-0. They finished 4-4 and due to Baltimore's (a conference champ) having two forfeit wins and a two teams drop out of the league, it sounds like Fort Wayne will be travelling up to Kalamazoo this weekend for the first round of the playoffs!!!
The game was a hot one, but the women held the opponent to under 60 total yards while accumulating over 350 yards of total offense! The Flash was in control all evening and became the first team in league history to make it to the playoffs in their first year.
So, if you see a player around town, make sure to congratulate her. With a team made up of mostly rookies, this was a huge season!
