I guess it is about time I fire down an intro. I will try to be quick, but I doubt I will be successful...my wind is long...er, I mean I am long winded, both in person and when I type...

Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, February 26, 1976. My folks moved around a bit, when I was younger. Lived in FL for a few years and New Orleans for a stint, before coming back up here (Fort Wayne Area, where my mom and her family is from).

I went to Haley (for 1st grade), Northcrest (2-6), Northwood (6-8) and graduated as a Redskin/River Rat in 1994. I went to Valparaiso University for a year, played football then thought I was better than I was and transferred to IU in Bloomington.

Basically, I discovered the evils (or fun) of women, beer, parties and sleeping in late:) I dropped out of college a year later and lived down with my buddies until '97.

After tearing up my knee playing intramural basketball at IU, any chance for playing football again was basically over, but I met a dude that played guitar that allowed me a new outlet. A year later, I talked him into moving up to Fort Wayne with me and with a couple other friends (Garr and Kevin, both of which I have known for about 15 years) we started a band...BroomPenny.

We gigged for a couple years, broke up and then that is basically where my music "career" ended:) I still have my guitars and play them occaisionally, but its not as big a part of me as it used to be. I was never all that good...could play rhythm good enough. I didn't make many mistakes, but I didn't add any new dimensions to the group. I basically enjoyed hanging out with my buds, playing a little music and playing gigs.

After tha, I decided to take the "corporate career" approach and focus on that, which left little time for music (for me at least). But I have plenty of good memories and some friends that still find their passions in music.

I got married in the fall of 2004 and currently have no little ones, although my in-laws and brother seem to be sprouting them up all over:)

Nowadays, you'll find me working in computers/software development here in town, playing basketball and softball in work leagues, bitching to Garr about his life choices (I had to throw that one in there!), screwing around on my website (www.deeksworld.com), playing video games, reading, writing and just recently (in the last 6 months) started assistant coaching for the Fort Wayne Flash (women's football).

I'm not into music as much as I used to be, but I try to support my friends in their musical endeavors as I can...anyways, that's about it...but I'd be happy to fill in gaps, elaborate or chat it up anytime!

Eh...no where special Adam. Last time I saw you, I think was at Legends...gave you my old amp that wasn't working all that well (did ya ever fix it up?).

I usually don't go out to many shows unless some derivation of Garr's band is out there...so that is probably why. Plus, for the longest time, FWM was in the boonies, so I just stopped showing up.

Glad to see you are still around, though. I'll have to pick back up with Andersen too...as I haven't talked to him for a couple years either...as Paul Newman said in "The Color of Money", "I'm back!"

There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.

Amy...the painfully hot one??? Nah, I'm not dating her anymore...we're married:) Going on two years...

I'll have to share the compliment with her...she should get a kick out of that!

Its good to be back...I have a lot of catching up to do though...last time I was on this board, was at least two years ago, and obviously a lot has changed since then!
