I don't even have to read jokes or the funnies to find humor, just thinking of 1,000 cell phones is hilarious.

I thought it would be funny to have a contest to see who on fwm can come up with the next best terrorist plot. Anyone up for it?

I fail to see the humor in using cell phones to remotely detonate explosives set up to blow up the Mackinaw Bridge. I fail to see why 3 men (middle eastern men, at that) buying over 1000 cell phones, but not buying any minutes shouldn't raise concern.

Maybe we need to miss one of these plots soon to wake people the hell up to what these people are capable of.

CARO, Michigan (AP) -- The FBI said Monday it had no information to indicate that the three Texas men arrested with about 1,000 cell phones in their van had any direct connection to known terrorist groups.

Authorities had increased patrols on Michigan's five-mile-long Mackinac Bridge after local prosecutors said investigators believed the men were targeting the span.

Almost funnier is the fact that 1,000 is pretty damn close to the number of cell phones I purchased on e-bay before learning my lesson & just waiting for my "new every two" plan to kick in.

'Think that means that I, too, am being watched for terrorist activity? That (plus the infinite amount of leftist/radical/political books & subscriptions of my husband's) surely means I'm one to watch, right?

I can honestly say that when I went to Europe earlier this summer, I tried to respect the languages and cultures to the best of my ability and was not harassed for being a non-native to those countries at all.

Maybe everyone should take a trip to a foreign country and get a little insight... Get over yourselves. Being a white anglo-saxon protistant american does NOT mean you instantly get to judge anyone who is not exactly the same as you.

I believe peace promotes peace, not dropping bombs for oil. This is one way to avert terrorism. Simply put the pocketbook aside and do things for the good will of the human race.

p.s. Don't believe everything Bill O'Reilly tells you...
