Liberal Progression

Post by scuzzbagcomics »

Humanity is still evolving. And so we must ask ourselves “Where are we going?” Well the destiny of humanity must be to become more enlightened beings. When we realize this is where we must go, me must begin to lay the groundwork. That is where Liberal Progression comes into it all.

I believe education should be top priority when it comes to tax allocations. The amount we put into our education right now will determine humanity’s rate of advancement. We must make sure that all our students are achieving their own personal potentials. Not just competency, but rather mastery is what we should be encouraging our students. We need to be training more engineers, physicists, and researchers.

Global warming must be halted. What we need is a breakthrough technology. And the new fuel industry which arises should be completely publicly owned, so we don’t have to worry about this oil-company corruption and dependence on foreign countries.

Corporate campaign contributions must be made illegal. Special interests should be made illegal. Democrats and Republicans are both guilty of this. They are selling our democracy every day. As long as the politicians take that money, every campaign promise and everything thing they ever say is negated. They have been compromised and must be removed.

We pay too mush taxes and don’t get enough out of them. Corruption and bureaucracy must be dissolved. Reforms must be made.

Something needs to be done about social security immediately! And everyone deserves medical coverage no matter how much money they have. These are two VERY important parts of what it truly means to be part of an enlightened society.

Decriminalization of Marijuana now! We’re spending way too much taxes locking up people for a nonviolent and non-threatening activity. Progression demands that we let go of prejudices on this topic.

Anyways drastic changes are needed to be made in the American political system.

I propose a new party to be formed right now when change is as important as it will always be.

The party can be called The Liberal Progression Party.

Its main points are:

1. Corporate infiltration into politics must come to an end now.
2. Better education for everyone.
3. Less taxes.
4. Dedication to the improvement and progression of mankind always.
5. Peace before War.

Education must be top priority; but it is much too important to our future to keep skools in the hands of a government monopoly.

As far as your 5 points, the Libertarian Party is committed to those aims already. No need for another party; the wheel's been invented

People didnt like it when Mitch daniels sold our tollroad out to Corporates and that is kinda why ppl can't trust the libertarian party. people dont think privitzation is the answer for everything, but yet the libertarians do. thats why the american public wont ever trust them.

The Toll Road thing will blow over when people see the road being kept in as good a shape (or maybe better) as when the shovel-leaners took care of it. If it is not, people will use US 30 and the company will lose revenue. Government is bloated and inefficient - have you been to the license branch lately? Do you want that experience/mentality expanded into more areas of your life - like medicine?

The bad part of that deal was the 75 year part; that is not good business practice. 10 years maybe as a trial.

maybe a little too optimistic. there's no way to tell at this point. but we'll have to put up with these guys for 75 yrs like you said. Yeah good we agree, bad business plan.

we throw more and more money at education each year and were gettin worse off, money is no longer the solution, I admit I don't know the solution but chuckin cash at it don't work

so lets pay less taxes and choose where our money can go, there for creating more jobs and more people on the pay roll with more money to spend
And everyone deserves medical coverage no matter how much money they have.
whos going to fund this

A bad system shouldn't be given more money. It should be fixed.

But when we form a more perfect syetem for our education, we need to keep it well-funded. Today's sacrifices are tomorrow's luxuries. We just need to do the best we can.

Ahhh...it sounds so trickle-down-esque. As I see it, the rich people make money off of us poor people and then they buy lamgorginis and mazarattis. sorry i have no clue how to spell those. but anyways along with french truffles and dutch whores and guess what people? all our money isnt trickling back down to us! Its going to foreign markets!

In canada they only pay a bit more of taxes and get universal health care to boot! well looks like we're the fools.

Look if someone was going to die because they couldnt afford their hospital bills, I would pay them, even if i would go into debt, you have to help them. Thats what responsibility's about. And all of us owe that to our common humans.

(Enlightened Beings is what we're going for...)
