the soldier was sooo outraged by this that he waited until 2 and a half years after the film's release to sue the director.
it looks like more of a publicity stunt to me. the guy has probably been getting sh#t on by his buddies for the past couple years, and he decided to do something to make himself look better now. what a joke.

He may not have seen the film when it came out, though. The article didn't say when he first saw the film, how long he took to recover from his injuries, or when he first went to an attorney about this issue.

That's freaking stupid. I hate it when people sue over anything and everything.
As far as Farenheit 9/11 goes, if even only 10% of the major points of that movie are true, then there is still some messed up stuff going on behind 9/11. Even if it's all fabricated, there is still some messed up stuff behind the Bush administration and 9/11.

There are a lot of sue happy people out there. Let's hope this isn't the case with this soldier. I'm afraid it will be a wait and see game. More power to him if he actually donated the proceeds. The Veteran's need all the help they can get!

<<<<sick of Michael Moore bashers. He may be a sensationalist, but he is one of the few left-wingers who have the sac to feed population with propaganda....the right-wingers have been doing it for years....and it's much more damaging I should say.

I learned not to believe everything my gov't tells me long before Moore hit the scene, so I could do without him just fine.
What I'd like to see is a George Carlin version of this kind of stuff.

the problem is that the average american isn't as free-thinking as you.Mama Dragon wrote:I learned not to believe everything my gov't tells me long before Moore hit the scene, so I could do without him just fine.
I would rather have a sensationalist like Moore ripping down a few walls in a few 2 hour movies....than to have FOX News pushing sh#t on a daily basis.
