DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME! WORLD CAN'T WAIT! @ WARPED!

Post by Squalidfunk »

Joe Savarino(O.V., C-C.U.) & Mike Wilson(Mediocres, Displeased) will be running the World Can't Wait booth for the entire Vans Warped Tour using their own van & gas money out of their pocket. To make this happen we need your help! Please go to www.worldcantwait.org & donate! and/or bring some change, nonperishable food to warped tour, every little bit counts! We will be reaching over 400,000 youth, most of whom hate what the Bush regime is doing. To get the word out to and organize them, we need $10,000 just to start this effort. Merchandise sales should cover a portion of the cost along the way, but without the startup money, we can’t get this underway. How much can you DONATE! to make this possible?

Organizing 400,000 youth!? Wow!

Is the same 400,000 youths that Puffy organized and DIDN'T bother to show up at the polls in 2004?

Oooooh, Bush must be trembling in his boots. . . .

WOW

Here's a radical idea,... maybe the 400,000 youth,
might show up in two years(which is when the
current adminstration's time is up) and I don't
know... VOTE! you can line
up for Hillary by then.

And the best part is that it's free!!......
could also be a time saver.

Sorry!
Had to...

this is way to ridiculous for me..

Most of them still won't be eligible to vote by then...

I love it when ignorant people call him "conservative"... Please... He's closer to Clinton than Reagan in his policies.

like clinton? spending money like a kid in a candy store? is that why he turned our(clinton's) surplus into a gaping deficit? the money that the clinton presidency spent was used to help the citizen's of the greatest country in the world through welfare reform, education, small business loans, etc. bush has constantly blown our money on such wonderful things as trying to repeal all of our civil libirties and that war on terror that has yielded zero positive results. clinton's spending gave alot of us opportunities to better ourselves and our country, bush's spending has left us in a negative utopia like america. i think there is a big difference.

I agree with your first half, but Bayh is probably not the greatest choice to push behind. He actually has a pretty crappy record. And like Bush, he's a rich kid that was propelled into office by his old man. Hell, I'd rather see a McCain/Lieberman ticket (don't laugh, this could happen), sort of a big up yours to both parties.

I'd love to see Barrack O'Bama run, but I'd like him to have some substantial senate time under his belt first. That guy is inspiring when he speaks, and he can actually string sentences and words together that make sense. Most of the time when Bushy is speaking, I have a hard time understanding what the Hell is going on.

Okay, so in order of highlighted areas:
There was never a surplus - it was always a projected surplus. The debt was still tremendous, and the projected surplus was about 15 years out. Plus, it was fairly well documented that the Clinton administration was cooking the books to make the financials look better than they really were. Also, the tax cuts boosted the amount of money received into the federal budget - always does, as proven time and again. Finally, war spending always boosts economies, just as tax cuts do. What do you think brought about an end to the Great Depression???

All??? Any??? Name one specifically. You can't, because there aren't any.

BTW, I'm not a Republican, I'm a Libertarian and while I voted for Bush twice, I wouldn't again. I'd vote Libertarian and "throw my vote away".

I know that bayh is'nt the best choice, but i would like to see a biden/bayh or leiberman/bayh ticket. bayh's record is'nt the greatest, but his time as governor of our great state was pretty productive.

Also bush and his cronies are trying to repeal roe v. wade, keep gay people from marrying, and the one that blows my mind clean out of my head, putting a halt to immigration. immigration, illegal or otherwise, is what our country is founded on. the ancestors of the sons of liberty left their respective homes not only to escape persecution, but to find better and more prosperous lifes. how can we, ancestors of immigrants, even remotely think that stopping immigration is ok.

One last thing, i understand that history says a war time economy is supposed to be a strong economy, but the only people i see getting richer in this war are the mega corporations that are getting the fat government contracts. take a look around at all the factories/businesses closing in this area, then tell me again that this war time economy is strong. i'm sorry but that is laughable.

p.s. to bassjones: even though we don't agree i want you to know that i am extremely stoked that you are knowledgable and do seem to care about the situation our country is in. it is fantastic to see someone who has an opinion other than what the news tells them, and is articulate and bright enough to express it. we may not be on the same wave, but it is good to know we're on the same side......america's. keep on keepin on!

About 50% of the country would like to repeal Roe

Bush isn't doing anything about illegal immigration, it's one of the reasons conservatives are so mad at him - that and that stupid prescription drug plan. The immigration issue is all about securing our borders - I think an important issue given the terrorist threat. As a side note, if Bush has screwed things up so badly, why are thousands of people continuing to risk their lives to come here every day???? When people start trying to escape America (lunatic Hollywood elitists don't count), then we will have problems. For now, people are still dying to get in. Also, what part of ILLEGAL don't you understand? That means they're breaking the law.

Indiana's economy is in shambles, mostly due to 16 years of Democratic incompetence, and the inability to foresee a future that wasn't focused on manufacturing.

Evan Bayh is a complete joke. He says one thing when he's running for re-election in Indiana - acting like a "moderate"/conservative to get the votes of Indiana's electorate - then votes with the likes of Clinton and Kennedy as soon as he gets to D.C. Say what you want about Souder, but he tells you what he stands for and then stands for it. The only thing Souder's ever lied about is the number of times he would run for re-election.

I'll need some figures for this to ring true. Got a link?

As strange as it may seem; it's better here then there.
Indiana's economy is in shambles, mostly due to 16 years of Democratic incompetence, and the inability to foresee a future that wasn't focused on manufacturing.
So all of this started in 1990?
Evan Bayh is a complete joke.
Almost every politician is a joke, IMHO.
Say what you want about Souder
Yeah, he falls into the 'joke' catagory as well. The 'Higher Education Act Drug Provision' turned him into a laugh IMHO.

That's to completely repeal Roe. As far as heavily restricting abortion - rape and incest only - a large majority are in favor of that. Every poll I've seen has the country split 50/50 on repealing Roe, until you look at the breakdown of the poll questions. Parental notification laws have broad support, limiting it to first and second trimester (with life of mother exceptions) has broad support, limiting to first trimester has more than 50% support (same exceptions), limiting it to rape and incest is more controversial, but still over 50%. The partial birth abortion ban had more than 90% support - especially if the procedure was described. Anyway, not to rehash an abortion debate...

Indiana's economy has been too focused on manufacturing for a long time, but the decisions made by those in Indianapolis during the 90's were the death knell. The only saving grace was that the national economy was booming (still is, btw), so it didn't look nearly as bad as it was. Unfortunately, they didn't adress a future without a manufacturing based economy - and our leaders are still focusing on manufacturing (the Honda plant).

Agree, all politicians are a complete joke - no disagreement from me there.

I think the Higher Education Act Drug Provision makes a lot of sense, frankly. It doesn't keep users or sellers from attending college, just from having you and I pay for it. Why doesn't that make sense? The taxpayers are shelling out $20G a year for you to go to college and you're smoking weed or worse, which negatively impacts your ability to focus on your education. I don't think you should get your education paid for.

Without some facts or sources or something to back it up, this is still hearsay and unsupported. If I polled 100 people that I know, I would be lucky to find 10 who were in favor of what you propose.

Jay was asking for some coroboration to your statements, and you just respond with more unfounded statements. At least TRY to back up your argument with data.
There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.
