Respectfully,... then who might you favor/suggest?
Not that they are planning on running:

Sen. John McCain

Colin Powell

Sen. Barack Obama

Joe Liberman (maybe; I'm still on the fence)

Henry Rollins

Sen. John Kerry

I've great respect for this dude.
Happy to see him running as an Independent.

When running for VP, he almost made me want to vote for Al.
......almost! PHEW then I woke up.

My advice, disban the UN.
The sooner the better. Throw them out of NY alltogether too.

Jay, John McCain???? Are you serious? There's something seriously wrong in that guy's head. The though of him with his finger on the button truly scares me.

John Kerry was, is, and always will be a joke

Powell - maybe

Obama - No. He sounds eloquent, but no substance

Rollins???

In a psychotic "what if" moment....

the 9/11 planes both skipped the WTC
and veered West and slammed into the UN.

Henry Rollins? He has a show on Bravo I think....he's beyond a tool.

I'd like to see a new organization started, something along the lines of United Democracies which Bush pointed out a few years ago. The requirements for membership are simple.

Have a Bill of Rights for all citizens.
Must follow those Bills of Rights
Several Multi-Party elections held.

I would put my money behind an organization like that....
the 9/11 planes both skipped the WTC
and veered West and slammed into the UN.
Lets see.....

Afghanistan. Taliban still in control after years of peaceful negotiation.
Iran: Leading the war on terror.
Israel: Glowing in the dark.

Yeah, I don't have those fears. Our of curiousity what makes you think he's more of a war-hound then Bush?
John Kerry was, is, and always will be a joke
I disagree.
Powell - maybe
Probably my front runner, but he's probably least likely to run.
Obama - No. He sounds eloquent, but no substance
I disagree.
Rollins???
Yep. I bet he could turn this place around in no time. Plus I figured I'd get hammered by writing down whom I'd vote for so I added a celebrity candidate. My 2nd place celebrity candidate? Oprah.

Oprah?!?!?!? Less substance than Jessica Simpson. Okay, well, maybe not that bad, but still...

I'm not saying McCain is more of a war mongerer - although I don't really think Bush is either - I just think he's seriously unstable. Have you listened to him at all? He flip-flops more than John Kerry and Al Gore together.

I might vote for Lieberman, but if you think relations between us and the Middle East is bad now, how bad do you think it would be with a Jewish President?

I have to disagree. He's quite intelligent and very well spoken. IMHO he would be a breath of fresh air in politics.

I believe his show is on the IFC not Bravo.

Am I the only one who finds it weird to think this way? Why is violence always a favored solution?

hmmm, the whole deal was violent no matter what structure the planes reached...........
so i do not suppose it really makes a difference as to whether or not violence was the favored solution............
due to the fact that any item slamming into any other item, regardless of the target, will be considered "violent"................
right?

You're missing my point Tramaqueen, but I think it's my fault.

I was really thinking more along the lines of 'blowing up the UN wouldn't have / had solved anything. Why would blowing it up it have made things better?'

Yes the 9/11 attacks were violent. If people would actually read my comments they would have read that I was for the invasion of Afganstan because of the 9/11 attacks.

I've never been for the 2nd Iraq war.

I never doubted your support for the war on terror. However, I DO have to ask if you really think the United States and Britain fudged the intelligence to their benefit their policies when France, Russia, and almost every other intelligence service believed as well that Saddam was in possession of WMDs.

And yes, Rollins is on IFN, and he is a tool. I watched his last show when I was in Denver and turned it off in 30 seconds. To say I was disappointed is an understatement...
