The point your missing is
the difference in a better quality air we have in the U.S. vs
most of the rest of the world, yet still receive the bulk of the
blame for something that man can't control.

I don't disagree that some or possibly all of global warming is more out of our hands than a lot of people seem to think. However, I have serious doubts that we have cleaner air than a non-industrial nation, or most industrialized nations for that matter. That makes no sense.
