3. It blows my mind that Americans are siding with the enemy more and more now. Those people want us dead, they hate us or have we all forgot 911? Wait, its been over two years now so we can joke about it.

4. Finally, though sadly a large percent of you in the back of your mind would probably love this scenario but, honestly if one of them captured or killed bush do really think that they would promote it in a civilized manner? Or did we forget that they like to cut the head off of our fellow Americans while still breathing?
The other day I was trying to think of some good, compelling evidence of how moderates are damaging American politics. The whole "with us or against us" defense of the president is a good example, i.e. "he's just doing his job, do you think you could do better." You don't have to be obediant to be patriotic, even if you consider being patriotic a good thing.

What does taking out Hussein or any other leader in the name of democracy means when we've crushed hopes of democracy elsewhere? If democracy and human lives are so important, why aren't we invading Saudi Arabia? Why haven't we convicted anyone in the CIA for their support of dictators (including Hussein) or terrorists (including a few familiar Afghanis)?

If the left is criticizing the President, its because he's trying to focus on his marginal successes in liberating two countries while we want to change his entire worldview.

Seriously. That has no place in a serious discussion. Take that sh*t back to the somethingawful forums.

Let's not forget the focus shifting, dramatic push for immigration reform and anti-gay marraige legislation when the 'ol approval ratings hit rock bottom.

I don't have sympathy for the guy, but I think the glorifying of the situation puts us at the same level as the people celebrating in the streets after a lot of Americans died on 9/11. We're adding fuel to the fire of racism against muslims, and their hatred for us in the Middle East.

There's a fine line between sympathy and anti-glorification of murder.

When one nation claims moral superiority after all other reasons fail for invading a country (cue the manifest destiny anthem) and the enemy of a war invented by neo-cons for God knows what reasons is captured and paraded about in violation of the Geneva conventions which our leadership happens to hold so dear until it applies to them, one cannot help but notice the double standard.

Considering how conveniently the administration has gone from Bin Laden witch hunt to free the poor brown people, I'm surprised you even consider him to be worth something. He was a handily snatched scapegoat whose trail somehow got obfuscated when the official press releases coming from our administration didn't jibe with reality.

It has every place in this discussion, though. If it was honestly his belief, then it's a valid belief. the world wouldcertainly be much simpler if there were less humans struggling to gain control of the limited resources available. Even if this post was made in sarcasm or as a satirical remark to show absurdity, it's still valid and raises thought.

When it comes down to it, human life is not sacred. No life is truly sacred. Sacred is a man-made concept. The world doesn't give a sh*t if we're here or not. Humans could die out tomorrow and this giant blue-green orb would do just fine. In fact, it would probably start to heal itself and begin creating a new sentient species. . .or maybe not. I wouldn't make the "human-mistake" again if I were Earth.
There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.
