:) I was referring more to the domestic economic policies of the two leaders...

I'm torn on the issue to be honest. I can understand where the guy is coming from, but the Colonization of Africa by France, Belgium and England, and the manner in which they turned their Colonies back over is largely responsible for this current mess (a wildly understated term for the situation in many African nations) and I feel there is a responsibility to help fix it. That said, propping up dictators and thugs by providing charitable support is of no use either, and it's no secret that most of the aid intended for the people ends up in the hands of the thugs causing most of the trouble.
