As a leftest academic, I'm more embarrassed that it took the university so long, honestly. The academic dishonesty accusations were well-documented and seriously undercut any valid points he may have.

As much as you and I completely disagree on a lot of issues, I totally respect you because you're academically honest about your views. Zero respect for many of your leftist academic counterparts because they have zero academic honesty. Ward Churchill is the biggest fraud in a sea of frauds.

On edit: The same holds true for many so-called conservatives - complete frauds. Fred Thompson for instance...

i've read about 6 articles on this guy and I still don't know what the issue is. What happened? What did Churchill do that caused his dismissal?

Academic fraud, i.e plagiarism was the final issue. The "Little Eichmann" comment didn't help his cause any.
